Art and Design Vision

Art is used to develop and extend pupils' visual curiosity, creativity, enquiry and aesthetic sensitivity to both the natural and synthetic world. It should expose children to a range of art and artists – past and present – national and global. Art should enable children to respond and enjoy expressing their ideas, feelings and imagination using visual media and practical manipulative skills. By using these approaches in art, children will develop their individuality.
