From a recent parental questionnaire, many of you have expressed that you do not know how to contact a parent governor. Below is a list of our current parent governors (Sept 2017), elected by you:

Parent Governors:

Mrs F Shaik Umar

Mrs S Uddin

If you want to raise a concern with a parent governor please speak to either to Darren Williams (Headteacher), Paul Taylor or Rachel Speed (Deputy Headteachers). If we cannot help you we will refer your concern to a parent governor to contact you. If you would like to go straight to a parent governor then please go to the school office and leave your contact details, or a written query, and it will be passed onto a parent governor.

May I remind you however, the parent governors do not deal with ‘complaints’. There is a process in place for making complaints which is different to this. The role of the parent governor is to raise issues with the whole governing body e.g. if you would like to see changes in the school or you are wanting to find out information on our approach to something.

In most cases the school can answer your query without it becoming a Governing Body issue but we understand that you may want to get the view of the Governing Body on your query.

We hope to get some photos of our parent governors on the display boards quite soon so you will be able to recognise them in the playground. Although, please do bear in mind they are busy people and may not be able to stop and listen as they collect their child. It is best to make an appointment.

Thank you

Darren Williams
